The Dukla cottage is located in the village of Čeladná in the local part of Horní Čeladná, in a quiet environment, surrounded by forest. The cottage is situated at the foot of the Malý Smrček peak. Around the cottage passes a blue and red hiking trail. In its vicinity there are also two ski slopes, Kociánka and Ski Resort Opálená, which are within 5 km.
For lovers of hiking there is near the chalet the second highest mountain of the Beskydy Mountains, Smrk 1276 m, which together with Malý Smrk and other peripheral peaks forms a massif of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains.
