The museum with its permanent display of Kožan City is housed in a former harness shop in the village Metylovice. The theme of this exhibition is to offer an interesting insight into the history and way of life of a wide swath of the inhabitants of Metylovice, located in the Beskydy foothills on the Moravian-Silesian border. From the 17th century until the mid-20th century, the village was inseparably associated with leather production.
